Battle Road Trail

Boom! Zing! Pow! Get ready to go back in time to the Revolutionary War on the Battle Road Bikeway. The Battle Road Bikeway is a nifty nine mile bikeway with numbers of informational historicalplaques along the trail. The trail is on the original Battle Road from the Revolutionary War that marks the march from Boston to Concord that 700 British soldiers used when searching for Patriotweapons.  Unlike the Shining Sea Bikeway in Falmouth, this trail is unpaved and has a few challenging hills. Additionally, there are no ice cream or food stops along the trail so be sure to packa lunch. So if you are in Lexington and  looking for a ride through history,  slap on some sunscreen and bug spray and hit the Battle Road Bikeway.
